“E-CNY+Gas Payment” Business Landed in Xiong’an New Area

Recently, the Bank of China Hebei Xiong’an Branch, in cooperation with Hebei Xiong’an PetroChina Kunlun Gas Ltd., launched the e-CNY residential gas payment business, further enriched the gas payment channels for rural residents, and deepened the application of e-CNY in the digital rural gas payment scenario. The “e-CNY+gas payment” business is also the first domestic order in the gas sector of PetroChina System.
The business was launched by the Bank of China Hebei Xiong’an Branch, and covered 200,000 residents in three counties in the new area, enabling them to pay gas fees to Hebei Xiong’an PetroChina Kunlun Gas Co., Ltd. through e-CNY, and providing a safe and convenient new payment option for the people in the new area.
